On-site
Edinburgh, uk, United Kingdom

We are currently expanding our freelance talent pool of experienced, detail-oriented Senior Account Managers and Account Directors to partner with our Edinburgh team on delivering world-class integrated reporting, ESG disclosures and corporate communications for our diverse client roster.

Availability: ideally a full-time capacity for the October 2026 – March 2027 window.

Location: While we have a soft spot for Edinburgh-based talent who can join us in the studio on a hybrid basis, we are also open to fully remote contractors

The role

You will be the bridge between our clients and our creative/production teams. You will navigate complex project timelines and maintaining solid client relationships during the busiest months of the year.

It’s less about the high-level brand fluff – you’ll be at the sharp end of corporate reporting. As the main point of contact for your clients, you will keep clients on track while our design and production teams do their thing. You’ll be comfortable managing the heavy lifting of the strategic report while ensuring the financial tables are flawless.

What you’ll be doing in this role

  • Manage the delivery of annual and sustainability reports from inception to publication. You will be managing the schedule, the budget and the client’s expectations from the first kick-off to the final PDF.

  • Confidently navigate multiple internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives and subject matter experts.

  • Oversee typesetting, rigorous proofing rounds and make sure all outputs are polished, accurate and delivered to the highest standard.

  • Manage project budgets and scope, ensuring that scope creep is identified and handled professionally.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • Proven experience in a branding, design or communications agency, specifically within corporate reporting. Please note that direct experience managing large corporate reports is a must, ideally at the FTSE 250/100 level.

  • We are looking for established SAMs and ADs who are capable of hitting the ground running. You can pick up an account and own it from day one.

  • High attention to detail, resilience and a calm head under pressure

  • You don’t need to be an ESG scientist but you should understand how the strategic report fits together to be comfortable talking to clients about regulatory requirements.

If you’re ready to dive into the next reporting season with a team that values your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply with your CV, a few examples of previous reports you’ve delivered, your rate and availability.
