Why This Role?

As an Account Executive at Hotwire, you will implement day-to-day communications activities, carrying out campaign execution and administration for B2B client accounts and projects. You and your fellow executives will be the engine of client campaigns, driving activities with determination and enthusiasm to deliver impactful results for your clients and make your team shine.

Job Description

Delivering the Hotwire vision and growth (what you will do to help us achieve our strategy)

  • Develop a solid understanding of your clients' industries and business objectives, and begin to think proactively and strategically about how to move accounts forward
  • Build familiarity with the products and services available within the Hotwire business, spotting opportunities to bring new ideas to clients that support their goals
  • Show commercial awareness and a growing interest in understanding how client accounts are managed and grown
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and agency initiatives, building your profile and areas of expertise within the business
  • Stay curious - ask good questions, seek to understand client challenges, and develop trusted relationships over time

Deliver the best (internal and external) client experiences

  • Look after a portfolio of around 4-6 clients: contributing to budget management and timelines under the guidance of senior team members
  • Work alongside a team of executives to execute client and campaign activity with enthusiasm and attention to detail, with regular senior oversight and support
  • Take a results-focused approach to your work, ensuring deliverables are met consistently and to a high standard
  • Build and maintain media and influencer relationships, with support from senior colleagues, and look for opportunities to leverage these for client benefit
  • Contribute to integrated campaigns spanning media relations, social media, events, and owned content

Deliver the best People experiences (how you will work with your team locally and globally)

  • Tasks manage junior team members on accounts within the B2B Tech team; inspiring and driving them to reach their full potential
  • Be the right-hand person to your Account Director or Senior Account Director
  • Get your hands dirty, and be a real team player

 

Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years’ experience in a dynamic PR environment, ideally within the innovation, tech or B2B space
  • A genuine in technology and an appetite to develop your knowledge
  • Strong client relationship skills and a professional, responsive approach
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and client deliverables simultaneously
  • Good writing skills across a range of formats
  • An eye for a story and emerging creative instincts
  • Growing media contacts and an enthusiasm to expand your network
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude
  • Ambition, drive and a desire to learn and progress
